“Sunday Break," by Steven DeLair is a piece included in the MEDICI exhibition and fundraiser.

The School of Art, Art History and Design’s 25th annual MEDICI exhibition will be on display Nov. 2-15 in the Eisentrager•Howard Gallery in Richards Hall.

The free exhibition will allow the public to preview works by students and supporting artists that will be available for sale during the department’s fundraiser Nov. 15, 6:30 to 9 p.m.

The proceeds from pieces sold at the fundraiser will be used to purchase new equipment and improve facilities in the School of Art, Art History and Design. Tickets to the Nov. 15 fundraiser are $50 and can be purchased the night of the event or in advance by stopping by Richards Hall, Room 120; calling 402-472-5522; or visiting the event website. Drinks and refreshments will be served as part of the entrance fee.

Since its inception 25 years ago, MEDICI has raised more than $260,000, which has been used to bring visiting scholars to the campus and purchase kilns, presses, paper making equipment and other amenities.

The Eisentrager•Howard Gallery is open 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. weekdays. Admission is free.
