For her leadership and dedication to the development and growth of College of Engineering programs focused on women and multicultural students, the University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s Jayde McWilliams has earned the 2021 Outstanding Contribution to the Status of Women award.

The award has been presented annually since 1999 by the Chancellor’s Commission on the Status of Women. It is reserved for individuals whose efforts create a climate that encourages women to succeed on campus. Recipients demonstrate a sustained and tangible impact on the university community.
