Patrice McMahon earned a Fulbright Scholars Award to teach and conduct research for five weeks this summer at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, Poland. The work led to McMahon participating in a Q&A column in The Conversation.

The Conversation recently featured Nebraska’s Patrice McMahon in a Q&A about Poland’s acceptance of some 2 million Ukrainian refugees.

McMahon, professor of political science and director of the University Honors Program, offers a unique perspective, having spent five weeks this summer in Poland completing research supported by a Fulbright Scholars Award.
