The Center for Entrepreneurship’s next Lunch Talk will host Ben Williamson from Invest Nebraska at noon March 18 in Hawks Hall, Room 315.

Williamson will discuss his experiences with startups and answer questions on subjects that include seeking out investors and identifying what they look for in a startup.

Lunch is provided, but space is very limited. Spots can be reserved by emailing entrepreneurship@unl.edu.

Williamson leads the investment team for Invest Nebraska and also serves as the company’s general counsel. In addition to graduating from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln with a bachelor’s degree in finance and a minor in economics, he also holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Nebraska College of Law.

Williamson has several years’ experience as a corporate attorney and has also been a small-business owner. He joined Invest Nebraska in October 2017 and assists Nebraska entrepreneurs in many ways, including in the preparation for rounds of funding. He also helps structure debt and equity deals and supports companies in the Invest Nebraska portfolio.
