During spring break, the University Libraries is offering workshops focusing on how to organize, cite, store and share data.

These sessions will provide the tools and the knowledge to put your best research forward. These events are a great opportunity to learn anti-plagiarism tips and tricks, as well as learn about resources to create research in the future.

Below are the times, dates, and descriptions of each of the workshops:

Managing your citations and documents with Mendeley

Two online sessions March 13: 10 a.m., with Melissa Gomis; and 6 p.m. with Lorna Dawes.

Mendeley is a citation management tool that can help you organize, cite, store, and share your research bibliographies. In these workshops, you will be provided with an overview of Mendeley, receive help getting started using it, and get answers to any questions you might have.

3:30 p.m., March 14, online.

EndNote is a citation management tool that can help you organize, cite, store, and share your research bibliographies. In this workshop, librarian Melissa Gomis will provide an overview of EndNote, help participants get started using it, and answer any questions participants might have.

Writing Data management and sharing plans

1:30 p.m., March 15, 235 Dinsdale Family Learning Commons, register here.

This session is for graduate students, postdocs and faculty only. Participants are encouraged to bring drafts of data management plans, any notes, or a description of the data to be collected.
