Robert Koons, a philosophy professor at the University of Texas, will present the lecture “Does God Exist?,” at 8 p.m. Jan 29 in the Nebraska Union Auditorium.

The event, which is free and open to the public, is presented by Christian Grads-Fellowship, Ratio Christi, Cru, and the UNL Philosophy Club. A question and answer session will follow the talk.

With degrees from Oxford and UCLA, Koons has authored and edited six books and more than 50 academic journal articles in the area of philosophy. An advocate for academic freedom, he has also served as a visiting scholar at Princeton and Oxford universities.
