Lammers, Gerlach crowned homecoming royalty

Seniors Cheyenne Gerlach and Bryce Lammers were crowned homecoming royalty during halftime of the Nebraska-Northwestern football game Oct. 5.

Seniors Bryce Lammers of Fordyce and Cheyenne Gerlach of De Witt were crowned royalty at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s homecoming celebration. Lammers and Gerlach, elected in an online vote of the student body Oct. 3, were crowned on the field at Memorial Stadium during halftime of the Oct. 5 Nebraska-Northwestern football game.

Lammers is an agribusiness major with minors in agronomy and agricultural economics. He is vice president and membership development executive officer of Alpha Gamma Rho fraternity and a member of the Commodity Marketing, Ag Econ/Agribusiness and Agronomy clubs. He is the son of Lyle and Rhonda Lammers.

Gerlach is an integrated science major with minors in global studies and Engler entrepreneurship. She is a member of Chi Omega fraternity and former Panhellenic delegate. She is also an executive team member in the Engler Agribusiness Entrepreneurship Program, vice president of youth engagement for the Nebraska Agricultural Youth Council, extension chair for the Black Masque Chapter of Mortar Board, and a member of the Nebraska Collegiate Farm Bureau and International Association of Students in Agriculture and Related Sciences. She is the daughter of Rick and Amy Gerlach.
