Joshua Preister of Omaha receives Army commission

Joshua M. Preister of Omaha, a cadet in the University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s Army Reserve Officer Training Corps, received his military commission during an Aug. 12 ceremony at the Nebraska Union.

He was commissioned a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army.

Preister also was among 583 Huskers who received degrees Aug. 12. He earned a Bachelor of Science from the College of Arts and Sciences.
