Jazz Singers, Orchestra to play ‘Other Places’

The University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s Jazz Orchestra and the Jazz Singers will play “Other Places” at 7:30 p.m. March 3 live from Kimball Recital Hall.

The free concert will feature three selections from the Jazz Singers, “Hand in Hand,” “When I Fall in Love,” and “Here I Am, There I Go.” The Jazz Orchestra’s set will include “Blues in Hoss’ Flat,” “Pete Wheeler,” “Green Piece,” “Skylark,” and “Phobos.”

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, no in-person audience is allowed. The free performance will be streamed live online.
