At the end of every semester, Jacht Ad Agency closes with a final presentation, showcasing their work to friends, family, clients and local partners. This year, with the university’s switch to remote instruction due to COVID-19, the students will hold a virtual presentation of their work via YouTube Premiere at 6 p.m. May 7.

The event, available here, will be open to the public.

With 13 clients this spring, Jacht has been able to produce work as well as they would had the semester continued as planned. The final presentation is something that students look forward to every semester, being an event to celebrate the hard work of the semester and display projects.

“Just because the university has changed over to remote learning doesn’t mean that we have stopped our client work at Jacht,” said Karin Ellefson, a senior advertising and public relations major who serves as Jacht’s communications director. “Our teams have been awesome during this transition, continued to meet with clients virtually and put their all into getting work done. We want to show that off!”

Jacht Ad Agency is a full-service, student-run advertising agency offered by the College of Journalism and Mass Communications. Jacht offers many creative services including: strategic branding, integrated marketing communications, campaign concepts, videography, photography, social media strategy, content creation, print design and public relations.
