The third Iron N Classic basketball tournament is April 6 at Nebraska's Hendricks Training Complex.

Basketball fans and players will come together for a three-on-three Iron N Classic basketball tournament, 5 p.m. April 6 at the Bob Devaney Sports Center’s Hendrick’s Training Facility.

The event is hosted by the Iron N, a student-led support group Husker athletics. The team that wins the tournament will receive sideline passes for Husker football’s sold out spring game.

Registration is $10 per person, which includes a guaranteed three games of group play, a T-shirt and food and drinks for the day. Cash payment is due at check-in, which begins at 4 p.m.

All players must have a valid NU identification card and be current students at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Men’s, women’s and co-ed teams are allowed.

There will be a max of 64 teams. Sign up early to guarantee your spot. Players may only be on one team. Teams must have at least three players with a maximum of five.

The final two questions of this registration form will be used to place teams in groups of four. Each team in a group will play the other three teams in pool play. Registration questions will only be used for pool play.

The top two teams of each group will qualify to enter bracket play. All qualifying teams will be competing for the same prize in the same bracket.

Rules, groups and other tournament information will be relayed to team captains via email sometime in March.
