Sustain UNL’s #PutAPriceOnIt Campaign will offer an Innovation Workshop at 5 p.m. Nov. 15 in Hawks Hall, Room 010.

The event will feature an introduction to the Energy Innovation and Carbon Dividend Act that is currently in the House of Representatives. It will also include presentations outlining renewable technologies that countries can move to after a carbon tax is implemented.

The presentations include Rising Solar Efficiency/Smart Infrastructure, Regenerative Agriculture and DIY Renewables (geothermal greenhouse, wind, at home solar panels).

After, there will be a discussion, which will feature questions from the audience; a brainstorm session on how to get involved in the renewable sector; answers to questions regarding community involvement in renewable resources; and group work to clarify items and delve deeper into individual curiosities.
