Husker Pantry graduate assistant Emilee Smith displays a basket of personal care and food items that are commonly-requested by University of Nebraska–Lincoln students.

Husker Pantry, which provides one-stop locations to assist University of Nebraska–Lincoln students with free food and hygiene items, and connections with university and community resources related to food and shelter insecurity, is restocking its shelves with a drive Sept. 21-30. The goal is to collect 3,500 food and personal hygiene items.

Locally-purchased items can be dropped at more than 20 bins placed throughout campus. Online purchases also can be made via an Amazon Wishlist for direct delivery to the pantry.

Any current student in need can utilize the Pantry’s services. Nearly one in three students on campus worries about not having enough food until they get money to buy more.
