Husker Hub, the University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s one-stop office that allows students to handle campus business, has moved into its permanent home on the first floor of the Canfield Administration Building.

Led by Academic Services and Enrollment Management and in collaboration with the Division of Business and Finance, Husker Hub is designed to help students with course registration, financial services, billing or online payment services in one office. Many enrollment decisions are intertwined with financial decisions and outcomes, which can send students to multiple offices to resolve business issues.

Previously located in Louise Pound Hall, Husker Hub includes services from the University Registrar, Scholarships and Financial Aid, Bursar and Student Accounts. Specific assistance is available for enrollment verification, class registration, transcripts, student bills, Free Application for Federal Student Aid, scholarships, grants, parent/student loans and work study. Husker Hub staff are cross-trained to more efficiently assist students.

“The Husker Hub model follows best practices in terms of an integrated model that best supports student needs,” said Justin Chase Brown, director of Scholarships and Financial Aid and interim director of Husker Hub. “It gives us the opportunity to efficiently work one-on-one with our students, giving them more time to focus on coursework, reducing frustration, and possibly minimizing the amount of debt they have to take on because they are able to consider both financial and enrollment impacts.”

Due to COVID-19 concerns, students are asked to conduct business through Husker Hub via virtual walk-in visits. Husker Hub specialists are available via remote access from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays. Students can check in for a visit here.

Students can also contact Husker Hub at huskerhub@unl.edu or 402-472-2030.
