Nebraska’s annual Family Weekend, sponsored by Student Affairs, is scheduled for Sept. 20-22.

The weekend will begin with a reception hosted by Student Affairs and Student Involvement from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Graduate Hotel. The evening will continue with a mentalist performance at 7:30 p.m. in the Nebraska Union, sponsored by the University Program Council.

Saturday’s activities include tours of Memorial Stadium from 9 a.m. to noon, as well as a Husker Watch Party sponsored by Campus NightLife which will take place in Memorial Stadium from one hour before kickoff until the game ends.

Families are encouraged to register online beginning May 24. All activities are free.

Student Affairs is also seeking university departments and organizations that can host activities as part of the event. Activities may be open to anyone or may be limited to students in a specific college or program.

Departments or organizations interested in participating can send the title of the event, date, time, location, description, specific target audience and contact information to Tonda Humphress at thumpress@unl.edu.

Program information is desired before May 17 but will be accepted through mid-July.
