The Horticulture Club is holding its annual poinsettia sale in a new format this year due to COVID-19 and the need for physical-distancing. Poinsettias can be purchased online through University of Nebraska-Lincoln Marketplace and the sale closes Nov. 13.

A variety of colors are available to purchase including White Snowcap, Pink Marble, Prestige Red and more. Plant size choices include 4-inch pots for $6, 6-inch pots for $14 and 8-inch pots for $20.

“Add some colorful cheer to this holiday season,” Sarah Wulf, president of the Horticulture Club, said. “The sale closes on Friday, so be sure to place your orders soon before we sell out of your favorite color.”

The club will have a booth set up on East Campus east of Plant Sciences Hall, near the Teaching Greenhouse West, for customers to pick up their plants from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Nov. 23 and 24 and from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Nov. 25.
