Homecoming roots run deep at Nebraska

In honor of its 150th anniversary celebration, the University of Nebraska–Lincoln is offering an expanded slate of homecoming events.

The weeklong celebration — which culminates in the Oct. 5 football game with Northwestern University — includes a rejuvenated Cornstock festival, the university's largest parade ever, a live performance by "The Voice" finalist Hannah Huston, and many family-friendly activities. As excitement builds and alumni return this week, Nebraska Today is taking a look back at historic photos from past Husker homecomings.
