Graduate student grant applications due Nov. 30

GSA Logo

The ASUN Graduate Student Assembly is announcing a new program to support graduate students at Nebraska: the Special Projects Grants Program. In an effort to promote additional programming for graduate student professional development and networking, GSA is awarding $2500 in grants - up to $1000 each - to activities, events or projects organized by graduate students.

Examples of activities that we may support include research symposiums, educational field trips, visiting scholars, workshops and more.

Applications will be assessed on a competitive basis following four criteria: impact, need for the project, preparation and financial need/co-sponsorship. Graduate students will need to submit a description, agenda and budget that describe how their proposed activity contributes to graduate student professional development, specifically addressing the four evaluation criteria. Applications will be reviewed by the Committee for Professional Development on GSA.

The application deadline is Nov. 30. Click here to apply.
