Robert B. Andrew, a foreign service officer in the U.S. Department of State, will lead a “Global Café: Coffee with a Diplomat” talk, 10 to 11 a.m., Feb. 22 in the Nebraska Union, Colonial B.

Andrew has been the political section chief in the U.S. Embassy in Stockholm, Sweden, since 2011. His work involves reporting on Swedish domestic and foreign security policy issues. He has reported extensively on Sweden’s evolving relationship with North Atlantic Treaty Organization as well as Sweden’s leading role in the European Union’s outreach to eastern European countries. He supervises two local Swedish employees as well as political interns.

The talk is free and open to the campus community.
