Genealogy Over Lunch to discuss DNA as genealogical tool

A University Libraries group designed to help individuals explore and organize the roots of their family tree will meet from 11:30 to 12:30 p.m. March 19 in Love South, Room 110.

The Genealogy Over Lunch group will discuss a website where DNA results can be shared for additional matching to potential cousins and genetic relatives called GEDmatch. More discussion will also be held on how to use DNA as a genealogical tool.

Genealogy Over Lunch is open to faculty, staff and students who wish to research their family tree. The group typically meets every third Thursday of the month at 11:30 a.m. in Love Library.

Participants are encouraged to bring a lunch.
