From the Archives: Registration day

Long lines of first-year students snake out of Grant Memorial Hall along 12th Street as they register for classes in fall 1923. The fall semester began on Sept. 17 and the schedule included three days set aside for entrance exams and registration.

The map and schedule (below) are pages from the university’s 53rd General Catalog. It would have been used to guide these Huskers during their first year at the University of Nebraska.
