In this aerial view of East Campus from 1941, Love Memorial Hall (on the lower left) had recently been completed and would soon provide housing for 48 students. The September 16, 1941, issue of the Daily Nebraskan featured the new cooperative dormitory on the front page. Each student who was chosen to live in the new dormitory also received a $100 scholarship.
