Free shuttle service offered between Lincoln, Omaha

Engineering is offering a free shuttle service between Lincoln and Omaha.

The College of Engineering is partnering with Arrow Stage Lines to continue to offer N-E Ride, a free weekday bus service between Lincoln and Omaha.

The service is open to all students, faculty and staff within the University of Nebraska system, with priority given to those in the College of Engineering. Service begins Aug. 21.

The buses will run between Othmer Hall at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln and the Peter Kiewit Institute at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Additional stops will be made at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and along Interstate 80 at Exit 439. Bus capacity is 40 riders.

Shuttle service begins at 8 a.m., with the last buses leaving at 6 p.m. from Othmer Hall and the Kiewit Institute.

Free Wi-Fi is available and no reservations are necessary. Seating is first-come, first-served. A valid university identification card is necessary to ride the bus.
