The Husker Pantry continues its work to help University of Nebraska–Lincoln students.

With need greater than ever before due to the pandemic, more students depend upon the Husker Pantry each week. To help fill the need, the pantry is holding a drive to collect 2,500 items between Oct. 22 and 30.

There are three primary ways to support Husker students in need:

  • Purchase items off of the pantry’s Amazon wish list. The wish list is kept up-to-date with our most needed items, and everything ships directly to the pantry.

  • Donate monetarily to help purchase in-demand items. You can donate via credit or debit card through the University of Nebraska Foundation. You can also mail a check to: Husker Pantry, c/o Megan Patel, 127C HCCN (University Health Center), Lincoln, NE 68588-0628

  • Find a donation bins on campus. You can drop off nonperishable food items, hygiene items and school supplies into the bins. Husker Pantry volunteers will collect the items every other week.

More details are available on the Husker Pantry website.
