The second performance in the “Many Voices” 2019-2020 Flyover New Music series is 7:30 p.m. Nov. 25 in Westbrook Music Building. The recital is one of three School of Music events this week.

The program repertoire includes an eclectic assortment representing each instrumental family, including recorded sound. There will be a variety of declarations: homages to influential people or places, philosophical ideas, historical reflections and the powerful declaration of our place in new music.

The Flyover New Music Series features student works developed in the composition studio in the Glenn Korff School of Music. Since its founding in 2017, Flyover has presented more than 60 new pieces by student composers .
