Flyover new music concert is March 29

The fourth Flyover new music concert will be held at 7:30 p.m. March 29 in Westbrook Music Building, Room 119.

The concert is free and open to the public. The concert will also be live webcast.

The Flyover New Music Series is presented by composition students in the University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s Glenn Korff School of Music. The series is administered and overseen by composition faculty and students, including Greg Simon, associate professor of composition.

The fourth concert of the 2022-23 season is titled “Our Place in This World.”

The program includes “Flat Circle” by John Kosch, a first-year Doctor of Musical Arts student; “The Time Spent Wandering” by Cole Asche, a junior music and actuarial science major; “If I Can Stop One Heart From Breaking” by Bryce Hayes, a junior music major; and “The Horse You Rode In On” by M. Joseph Willette, a first-year Doctor of Musical Arts student.
