Fitness, wellness programs highlight EveryBody Week

Herbie Husker scales the climbing wall in Nebraska's Outdoor Adventures Center. Campus Rec will hold a series of free activities as part of Celebrate EveryBody Week, Feb. 11-15.

Campus Recreation will observe Celebrate EveryBody Week Feb. 11-15.

The free, annual event is focused on helping individuals love themselves and see past body image insecurities. The University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s observance of the week will include free fitness classes, nutrition sessions, massages and more.

The schedule includes a new Strong is for EveryBody event, which features free workouts, chair massages, food, giveaways and information sessions. The “Strong is for EveryBody” event is 4 to 6 p.m. Feb. 13 at the Recreation and Wellness Center on East Campus.

Feb. 11

  • 8 to 8:50 p.m. — Loving Kindness, free meditation class, Campus Rec Center, Fitness Room

Feb. 12

  • 4 to 6 p.m. — Chair massages and swag, Campus Rec Center, Atrium
  • 6 to 9 p.m. — Eat Fit Go snacks, Campus Rec Center, Atrium
  • 9 to 9:50 p.m. — Rock what You Got, free fitness dance class, Campus Rec Center, Fitness Room

Feb. 13
