Nebraska will kick off the spring semester with a welcome back event — and waffles — for first-generation college students from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Jan. 17 in the University Suites Multipurpose Room.

The event, offered as part of the First-Gen Nebraska program, is open to current students, faculty and staff who are the first members of their families to attend college. It will feature The Waffleman serving all the waffles participants can eat and “Steps for Success” presentations by First Gen students.

RSVPs are requested for both students and faculty/staff.
