Big Red Resilience and Well-Being and First Generation Nebraska will host First Gen Friday at 2 p.m. Sept. 18 via Zoom.

The virtual event will talk about how Huskers can put themselves first and why it matters. During the 45 minute event, presenters will talk about self-care strategies — why they matter, how the can be used, and who can help at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln.

The event is open to all first-generation students, faculty and staff.

Participants are also encouraged to show off first-generation student pride by wearing a First Gen T-shirt to the virtual event.
