Bass drum players signaled the approaching start of the fall semester by playing in the shade near Architecture Hall on Aug. 12. The group was practicing as part of the first day of the Cornhusker Marching Band's annual band camp.

The 2021-22 Cornhusker Marching Band will take to the turf in Memorial Stadium for the first time during an exhibition on Aug. 20. The event is free and open to the public.
