Faculty, staff can assist student recruiting via online referrals

Refer students to our Office of Admissions

The Office of Admissions continues to seek faculty and staff assistance in connecting with future Huskers.

To help with University of Nebraska–Lincoln student recruitment efforts, faculty and staff can use an online form to refer a student to the admissions recruitment team.

“As we continue to build momentum and recruit talented students to Nebraska, one of the most important ways the Office of Admissions connects with prospective students is through referrals from faculty and staff,” said Abby Freeman, director of admissions.

All referred students are included in special campus communications that feature information about academic programs, scholarship opportunities and event invitations.

Faculty and staff referrals helped the admissions team recruit this year’s freshman class, which boasts one of the strongest academic profiles in the history of the university. The Class of 2022 is also the most diverse undergraduate student body in Nebraska history and includes the largest nonresident enrollment ever.

“We are at a monumental time in our institution’s history and we could not have come this far without your help,” said Amber Williams, assistant vice chancellor for enrollment management. “We thank you all for your partnership in recruiting future Nebraska graduates.”
