Early career investment workshop is Oct. 25

An early career investment workshop, “2023 Invest in Yourself,” will be from 9:05 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Oct. 25 in the Nebraska Union’s Swanson Auditorium.

The workshop is hosted by University of Nebraska–Lincoln Human Resources. Attendees will learn to take control of their financial future and gain valuable insights and strategies to make the most of their money. Registration is not required, but encouraged. Register here.

At this workshop, attendees can expect:

  • 10:00 a.m. | “Take the First Steps to Investing,” presented by Jason Cronick, workplace financial consultant, Fidelity Investments

  • 10:45 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. | Break

  • 11:15 a.m. | “The Art of Small Talk: How to Talk to Strangers,” presented by Celeste Spier, director of organizational development, Human Resources
