Active University of Nebraska–Lincoln employees can obtain immediate access to duplicate W-2 tax forms electronically via Firefly.

Instructions for employees not currently enrolled in online W-2 delivery can be found online. The W-2 tax forms can be downloaded and printed at the employee’s convenience.

Separated employees or employees needing assistance can contact their department payroll staff for information/assistance. The employee’s department payroll staff can provide instructions on how to enroll in W-2 online delivery and can provide the duplicate W-2 request form with instructions on how to submit the request form to Payroll Services. The requests will be processed by Payroll Services and duplicate tax forms will be mailed to the employee/former employee via the United States Postal Service. The process is designed to be more convenient for employees and eliminate the need to travel to Payroll Services to request duplicate copies.
