The Association of Students of the University of Nebraska Environmental Leadership Program will host a furniture drive at the Harper, Schramm and Smith residence halls from noon to 8 p.m. May 1-3.

The drive will collect large furniture such as chairs, couches and futons to donate to Bridges to Hope, a local nonprofit that provides support to the formerly incarcerated.

Volunteers are needed to help move furniture from the residence hall to moving trucks and unload the materials at the Bridges to Hope warehouse. Volunteers will receive a free shirt, reusable water bottle and reusable bag courtesy of the Office of Sustainability.
