Effective immediately, the University of Nebraska–Lincoln is returning to pre-pandemic policy related to domestic travel by faculty and staff for university business.

The policy, outlined here, requires a single level of supervisory approval. The policy had been adjusted — due to COVID-19 — to require dual approvals (including a dean or vice chancellor).

All other university travel policies related to COVID-19, including international travel and use of university vehicles, remain in place. An overview of travel policies related to COVID-19 are available here.

Information on COVID-19 protocols when using a university fleet vehicle is available here.
