Students take notes in this April 5, 1982 photo of an unidentified campus lecture hall. The photo is part of a group labeled as “Campus Scenes,” a collection of images of campus exteriors, small and large classes, students on campus and an Ivy Day ceremony in front of Love Library.

To expand our understanding of campus history shown in these (and some future) photos, the Archives and Special Collections will sometimes use “From the Archives” to crowdsource information from the university community. If you can identify this classroom, are pictured here or can provide context to the course/classroom activity, send email to tfedderson2@unl.edu. Your knowledge will be shared with the Archives and Special Collections and, whenever possible, integrated into the metadata explaining the images.
