Rural America is sometimes overlooked by design professions, but students in the College of Architecture are changing that by building creative partnerships with small communities.

On Sept. 14, Jeffrey L. Day, professor of architecture, talked about the initiative during a live interview on RFD-TV. The discussion included information about a variety of projects being developed by University of Nebraska–Lincoln architecture students, including work to transform a Rushville, Nebraska, grocery story into an art gallery and exhibition space.
