Councilman Gray to speak on ‘Racism and American Survival’

The Association of Students of the University of Nebraska and the Black Student Union will co-host a Women of Color in STEM panel, 6 to 7:30 p.m. Nov. 12. Presented via Zoom, the panel is part of a series of racial equity and inclusion events.

The Academic Advising Association will host guest speaker Councilman Ben Gray at 3:30 p.m. Nov. 19 via Zoom.

Gray will speak on “Racism and American Survival” and how it relates to the student population.

The Academic Advising Association was created as a venue to provide and enhance professional development opportunities, discuss and implement best practices, and network among the varied student services professionals who serve university students.
