Councilman Gray to speak on ‘Racism and American Survival’

The Association of Students of the University of Nebraska and the Black Student Union will co-host a Women of Color in STEM panel, 6 to 7:30 p.m. Nov. 12. Presented via Zoom, the panel is part of a series of racial equity and inclusion events.

The Academic Advising Association will host guest speaker Councilman Ben Gray at 3:30 p.m. Nov. 19 via Zoom.

Gray will speak on “Racism and American Survival” and how it relates to the student population.

The Academic Advising Association was created as a venue to provide and enhance professional development opportunities, discuss and implement best practices, and network among the varied student services professionals who serve university students. Whether you are faculty, staff or a graduate student, this organization is a place to come together, to learn from and with each other, in order to provide the best support for our students as they navigate their college experience.
