The Convocations Committee is now accepting applications for funding guest speakers during the spring 2020 semester. Applications are due Nov. 1.

Convocations Committee grants are generally $150 to $1000. The form and guidelines can be found on the Faculty Senate website. The vitae of the guest speaker along with the Convocations Committee application need to be submitted electronically to Karen Griffin, Coordinator of Faculty Governance at kgriffin2@unl.edu.

The Convocations Committee, which consists of four faculty members, two student members determined by ASUN, one student member determined by UPC and the UPC Nebraska Program Coordinator, administers a speakers program for the university community. This speakers program is specifically intended to support faculty who wish to bring to the campus individuals who can add to the academic life of the university.
