Russ Feingold, president of the American Constitution Society, will give the next talk in the Law and Democracy Series presented by University of Nebraska Law from noon to 1 p.m. Feb. 21 in McCollum Hall, room 115.

Feingold will discuss his book, “The Constitution in Jeopardy,” co-authored with Peter Prindiville. He will explore a dangerous effort by factions of the right to radically rewrite the United States’ constitution through an Article V constitutional convention and examine the grave risks inherent in this effort. Feingold will also consider the role of constitutional amendments in modern life, examine the nature of constitutional change, and ask urgent questions about what American democracy is and should be.

This program has been approved for 1.0 continuing legal education credit in Nebraska.
