The Clay Club and the Fine Art Photo Club will have their fall sales Dec. 8-9 in Richards Hall.

The annual Clay Club Sale and Raffle as well as the Fine Art Photo Club Print Sale and Raffle are Dec. 8-9. Sale hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Dec. 8 and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 9.

Both sales are in Richards Hall, with pottery in Room 118 and photos in Room 121. Cash, checks and credit cards will be accepted.

A special collector’s tour of all the work in the Clay Club sale is 8:30 a.m. Dec. 8.

The Clay Club sale will include works of art created by graduate students, undergraduate students, alumni and faculty in the School of Art, Art History and Design. The designs represent a broad range of aesthetics, techniques and concepts.

In addition to the sale, there will be a raffle of work donated by students, faculty and select local artists. Tickets for the raffle can be purchased either day. The drawing will be held at 5 p.m. Dec. 9. Winners need not be present to win.

Proceeds from the sale go to the artists, as well as funding the Clay Club. This student-run organization brings in visiting artists to the community and sends students to national conferences.

The Fine Art Photo Club Print Sale will feature work by both graduate and undergraduate photography students.

The photography raffle will include work donated by faculty and graduate students. Raffle tickets are $1 each or $5 for six tickets. The proceeds from the sale and raffle will help fund student attendance to the Society for Photographic Education National Conference in the spring.

Public parking is available at the Stadium Drive parking garage. For more information, call 402-472-5522 or e-mail schoolaahd@unl.edu.
