Civic Engagement contest seeks student proposals

Give Back. Big. campaign winners from 2015 pose for a photo. The campaign will award two $1,000 grants for student projects.

A competition organized by the Center for Civic Engagement is offering University of Nebraska–Lincoln students the chance to help change the world.

Through the “Give Back. Big.” campaign, students can submit project proposals and receive awards to fund the ideas. Two student projects will receive funding. One award will be selected by the campaign committee, which includes students, faculty and staff. The other award will be selected via a community vote.

Proposals for the competition are due by 5 p.m. Oct. 21. For more information, click here or contact Phil Foster at pfoster@huskers.unl.edu.
