Chinese film festival begins Oct. 5

Nebraska’s Confucius Institute will host its annual Chinese Film Festival, featuring three films and a lecture from Roz Hussin, Oct. 5-11 at the Mary Riepma Ross Media Arts Center. The films and lecture are free and open to the public.

This year’s showings include a dark political comedy, “I Am Not Madame Bovary,” the action blockbuster hit “Wolf Warrior 2,” and a documentary, “Bruce Lee: A Warrior’s Journey.” There will also be a pre-show discussion and lecture by Roz Hussin, “Bruce Lee, Martial and Media Arts,” at 6:15 Oct. 10 before the showing of “Bruce Lee: A Warrior’s Journey.”
