Chancellor peeks behind the curtain in Emerging Media Arts

3 Questions with Ronnie | Johnny Carson Center for Emerging Media Arts

Chancellor Ronnie Green is on campus and talking one-on-one with Huskers in his “3 Questions with Ronnie” video series.

In this installment, Green poses three questions about the [College of Fine and Performing Arts’ Johnny Carson Center for Emerging Media Arts). The discussion features Megan Elliott, director of the center, and Sophia Stueven, a May 2023 graduate.

An arts program unlike any other, Nebraska’s Center for Emerging Media Arts teaches students to tell stories and create worlds across disciplines old, new and those still being discovered. Students in the program start creating from day one, working closely with faculty mentors to gain foundational knowledge in storytelling, vision expression, entrepreneurship and computational media.
