More than 700 University of Nebraska–Lincoln students work for Campus Recreation. To learn how to become one of them, students can attend a one-day job fair, 3 to 7 p.m. March 13 in the University Suites’ Multipurpose Room.

The event will offer students the chance to discuss potential jobs with Campus Rec representatives and submit applications.

Positions available through Campus Rec include: member services, intramural sports officials, Scooter’s coffee baristas, Outdoor Adventures, strength training attendants, personal trainers, group fitness instructors, lifeguards, swim instructors, student custodians, sports turf management staff, building and fitness equipment maintenance staff, and injury prevention/care staff. Job applications for Outdoor Adventures, strength training attendants and personal trainers require a cover letter and resume. Additional skills or certifications may be requested depending on the position. If necessary, interviews will take place at a later date.
