The University of Nebraska–Lincoln will host a vaccine clinic for COVID-19 and the flu on Oct. 10.

The free clinic, which is open to students, faculty and staff, is offered through a partnership with the Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department and University Health Center. It will be 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Jackie Gaughan Multicultural Center, Unity and Ubuntu rooms; and 3 to 4 p.m. in the Nebraska East Union, Great Plains Room.

The bivalent COVID-19 dose (Pfizer and Moderna options) will be offered. The vaccine is available to those seeking a booster or a first dose.

Any member of the campus community who participates in the clinic will receive a meal voucher worth up to $10 for vendors in the Nebraska and Nebraska East unions.

The COVID-19 vaccinations will be administered by the county health department. Individuals seeking COVID-19 boosters should bring a vaccine card to document the inoculation.

All students under the age of 19 will need to provide a signed consent form.

Registration for the COVID-19 clinic is available through the county health department.

Free flu vaccination will be available to students through the University Health Center and to faculty and staff via the county health department. Insurance cards will not be needed. A valid NCard is required for all students seeking the flu vaccine.

The COVID-19 and flu vaccine clinic is also free and open to students, faculty and staff from other institutions of higher education.

The University Health Center is offering flu vaccine clinics open to students, faculty and staff who cannot make the Oct. 10 event. Learn more here.
