Campus can dance the day away at Huskerthon March 2

Here is a sneak peak into what one of the many dance parties at Huskerthon might look like!

The 21st annual Huskerthon is happening 2-10 p.m. March 2 in Nebraska Union’s Centennial Room.

The Huskerthon is an event hosted by Dance Marathon, a University of Nebraska–Lincoln RSO, to raise funds for Children’s Hospital in Omaha.

This year, Huskerthon will have a western theme and will welcome Miracle Children to the event. Miracle Children are some of those who’ve been treated at Children’s.

During the event, there will be activities including line dancing, mechanical bull riding, rodeo roping and relay games. Throughout the event, members will be fundraising for Children’s Nebraska to fund a patient room, a nursing input station, and a nursing station in the Cardiac Care Unit. The goal is to raise $105,000 in order to fund all three of the amenities for the hospital.

Huskerthon is open to the campus community. To learn more, register for the event, or to donate, click here. Use the discount code “4Free” for FREE registration and entrance to this event!
