The Bureau of Sociological Research is seeking researchers at Nebraska interested in participating in the 2019 Nebraska Annual Social Indicators Survey.

Conducted each summer, the survey serves as an important tool for researchers to obtain basic demographic information (such as age, sex, family, and employment) of 1,000 Nebraska adults. The survey has been conducted since 1977 and is recognized by researchers, state agencies and legislators as a scientific way to measure public opinion regarding issues that face Nebraskans.

Costs are estimated to be $7,500 a page this year. Data collection is scheduled to begin in July 2019 and end in fall 2019. The bureau will work with researchers to develop items in the survey that best suit their needs and interests.

Those interested in participating should contact Lindsey Witt-Swanson at lwitt2@unl.edu by April 30.
