Brass Quintet presents ’Both Sides of Bach’

The Jazz Quintet will perform "Two Sides of Bach" 7:30 p.m. March 12 in Kimball Recital Hall.

The University of Nebraska Brass Quintet will present its campus recital “Both Sides of Bach” 7:30 p.m. March 12 in Kimball Recital Hall.

The performance is free and open to the public and will be streamed live.

The two sides title refer to Johann Sebestian Bach and Jan Bach, both composers in their own era. The program will also feature No Comment by Juraj Filas and a quintet by Michael Kamen.

The University of Nebraska Brass Quintet includes Scott Quackenbush and K. Craig Bircher on trumpet, Alan Mattingly on horn, trombonist Scott Anderson and tubist Craig Fuller.
