Big Event organizers are seeking volunteers to add operations staff. Student volunteers assist the executive team to prepare for the Big Event, which is a day of service across the Lincoln community. Applications for the 2017 Big Event operations staff are due by 6 p.m. Nov. 22.

Operations staff will focus on three different areas: job site operations, recruitment and private residences/community organizations. Each committee will be required to complete various tasks through the spring semester leading up to the event and provide assistance on the day of the event, which is April 1.

The application includes a section for applicants to rank the committees in the order of preference. Descriptions of the committees are available online.
